There is a chill in the air here in our neck of the woods. Susie and I went for a walk through the fields last evening. The corn has been cut down and mowed. We try to take a walk every evening, for a little excercise but also it is a time to reflect on the day. As we walk we talk about everything that has happend that day. We talk about the Lord and how good he is. We talk about bad and good things, things that make us happy , and sad. We just plain talk about life. Fall is wonderful time of year. Susie says it is because that means that winter in comming and she hopes for big snow, so she and Daddy can build tunnels, and snowmen. I enjoy because it is break from weeding the gardern. But sure enough by St. Pattys day we will be ready to get the taters in. We will be anxious about getting out to take a walk around the fields to see the leaves comming on the trees. It's funny how bored we get with the seasons. We can't wait till it's cold, then we want it to be warm. God must feel like there is never any pleasing us. Anyway I digress, the most important things about the seasons is spending them with people you love. Teaching your children, telling them about Jesus, and how God created us. How he makes the seasons change, and we should be thankful that we are alive and here to enjoy them no matter what the season. God has made a way for us to be free, in cold or warm seasons... mmc
